South Africa is facing a public health crisis. Obesity rates keep rising whilst hunger and malnutrition persists for many. However, the problem is complex, but the Health in Action program is tackling it through a common-sense approach to help build a healthier future for South Africa’s children.
Through this school-based program, children will learn and absorb educational messages about nutrition, physical activity and healthy lifestyles through hands-on, skills-based activities. This will also include the development of school gardens that provide nutritious fresh produce to supplement and add to school meals. INMED asked for our creative services, to help show the progress and drive awareness for this program and how it has affected all the stakeholders involved.
